And it’s the variety our nurses love. One day, you’re dealing with a heart attack. The next, delivering a baby. Perhaps even being asked to help deliver a foal, as happened to one of our nurses.
You’ll need quite a set of skills, and the confidence to take charge.
But don’t worry: it’s not all bush clinics. We have a wide range of roles, from a country-town hospital to a rural health clinics.
Not done this sort of thing before? As long as you’ve got at least two years of post-grad experience, we’ll work with you. Start small, and work your way up.
Your first placement might be a regional hospital or multi-purpose health service facility.
When you’re ready, move to rural: you’re not on your own, but you’ll be expected to take charge.
All the way to remote facilities. Here, you’ll be doing it all.
